My favorite creepy podcasts!

My favorite creepy podcasts!

Just in time for Halloween. I thought I would share my most listened to podcasts. I don’t know about you, but sometimes when I’m driving or working, I like to listen to podcasts instead of music. I wanted to share my favorite podcasts with you, that I listen to all the time, but they are especially great for the Halloween season.

This is the #1 Podcast I listen to. The episodes are long so it sometimes takes me a couple days to finish if I am just listening while driving. Em and Christine share their stories of the paranormal and true crime which they research and provide all of the facts for. While the stories can be disturbing, creepy and sad, they really lighten it up with their humor and ramblings. You can listen to a new episode every Sunday. And as a bonus, they read listener submitted stories on the 1st of each month. Would you have a story to submit?

Lore’s episodes are on the shorter side, rarely exceeding 30 minutes. But Aaron Mahnke does a fantastic job getting a lot of information in that short amount of time. He explains the “lore” and the history of it with the real, or not so real, stories. New episodes are released bi-weekly on Mondays. The best part about Lore? Because of it’s fame in the podcast universe, they have also made it into a show available to watch on Amazon Prime.

Haunted Places

Haunted Places

Each episode focuses on a different haunted place. Some you have probably heard of but there are quite a few that may be new to your ears. The beginning of every episode, Greg Polcyn starts off with a story that has to do with the location. He then will talk about what events have taken place there and about the history. Episodes are typically around the 45 minute mark. You can listen to a new episode of Haunted Places every Thursday.

Serial Killers is a parcast podcast, the same as Haunted Places. Greg Polcyn also does this podcast, so-hosting with Vanessa Richardson. Greg offers the facts while Vanessa gives a more psychological approach. They also use voice actors to bring the story to life. Every Monday they release a new episode.

What are your favorite podcasts?
